1 Find the testimonial page for internships.
http://www.uvu.edu/internships/students/testimonials.html) View at least one testimonial. Who did you watch and what did you learn? Look at the written testimonials. What one impressed you?
I watched Anna Culp. I learned that she just found the internship on the school job board website. Her internship allowed her to get published and now she is much more confident and prepared to find employment. I really like Brittany Buckhannon's testimonial. It probably appealed to me the most because I've got an itch for adventure and she did her internship at Sea World, though she stayed in the media side of things, it just says to me that internships really are an opportunity to get ahead while having fun!
1 What internship scholarships are available?
General, Government, and Non-Profit
1 Take a look at the Internship Blog and Facebook page. What suggestions do you have that would make these more helpful?
The only thing I can really think of is the blog could look more exciting visually. I know they're trying to stick with a UVU green color scheme, but maybe a little more hue or some pictures to liven it up and get students excited and interested in learning more about internships. As far as the facebook page... maybe somewhere have the testimonials from those that did internships posted.
1 Go go to the “Have a quick Question” box on the internship home page and ask a question regarding internships. Write the question you asked below.
Where could I find a list of internships students at UVU have done that have to do with writing/publishing?
